Drum Counselor...that track was awesome!!! Thanks so much--kickin solo at the end! If you have any more of Missing Persons live tracks please let me know. I was a big fan back in the day.
Also, I checked out your site and enjoyed it a lot--love the intro music. Nice work!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Sorry, I had the MD thing on my work computer and knew where to find it quick. I also have his Solo Drums vid, but that was at home, including the book that came with it with a US Drag transcription in it. No access to that at work.Quote:

You said you had a few weeks until you have to teach your class on linear drumming, it struck me that it might be in your best interest to find the time to do it yourself. I intended the advice to be helpful, not elitist. Plus, if you'd written it out yourself, you'd know whether or not the MD version is correct.

BTW, it isn't.

Hey spaceotter,
Thanks for visiting my website. Thanks for enjoying US Drag. I will get you some more Missing Persons when I return from Summer NAMM.

TBoz MADE Persons listenable ...& secondly [aside from one of the fem-lib movement's worst nightmares ATT, pin-up valley-plasti-barbie-Dale, firstly], he also made them watchable...

As a student you can get Finale for less with the educational discount. That's how I originally got mine.
Brad

no you can really SEE if your transcriptions are right!
Thanks Dr. Funkenstein. OK GaMG, you're right: I guess it was mostly about Terry for me too. He's awesome. The clothes and attitude are worse than I remembered--almost charicature.
Though as annoying as Dale's character in this band is, I've gotta admire that "porn star to punk wanna-be" thing. It's so ridiculous it almost works. That takes some guts.
Still no "love" 4 me, V; i must be "just Missing" it every time [guess i'm truly a real Missing Person].<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah, i can do w/out the doo's [awa attire], but TB played great in that band. A worthy rival for NP in Rush [altho AFA commrcl-radio-AORock w voc, i liked Rush's tunes MUCH better overall]. Forget MP - TB [or SiP; MMang] would be the def sub [AFA strictly the drumg goes] in Rush [just for whimsy's sake]! If i was producing a Rush trib, aside fr getting permission fr them ;-), i would have TB, Si, & perhaps MM do it... Quote:

AFA Dale, the formidable hybrid of the Betty Boop caricature AWA the fem lead in Roger Rabbitt, also a mild bit of Wendy O, the blonde 'ditz' character on the old Ted Knight show, & every valley girl since Moon Z's tune ...I'm sure she was a very nice gal... /;-)
But the squeaky-voiced, ditzy-act, over-bleached hair, exaggerated collagen-lips, cartoony-face [make-up], watermelons/ basketballs/ dirigibles/ led zeppelins-in-the-bra trend never did it for me. That was for those certain other "special" kind of "guys" [of the same mentality/ilk..."car-tune," that is]... ];-)
